Gold Cliffs Adventures

As I have previously mentioned, both Kaitlyn and Hannah loved going to Gold Cliffs, when the tide is out, we were able to walk along the beach and around the cliffs, heaps to explore, we were there pretty much every evening for sunset.

Mornington Island - Fishing Adventure's

One thing both Kaitlyn and Hannah were keen to get into was getting out on the Police boat and do some fishing, unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, most of the time the girls were here it was windy, making the water choppy, we did go out a few times anyway.

Kaitlyn got the first fish, she was so proud of herself, pulled it in on her own, we let it go as by our standards up here it was a tad small.

Hannah managed to get herself a great little Mackeral, again managed to get it on the boat all by herself, we let the little fella go.  She was a little scared of it due to the teeth, so happy to get a bigger fish than Kaitlyn though.

We did end up getting a decent sized Mackeral for dinner after all that.

Mornington Island - Gold Cliffs

One of the girls favourite places to explore was Gold Cliffs, a short drive from town, beautiful at sunset.

Mornington Island June 2013

Anyway, the girls and I enjoyed our first night together on Mornington Island.  Both Kaitlyn and Hannah were keen to try fishing.

Gold Coast and Mornington Island Visits

Wow, I've been pretty lazy, it's been 6 months since I've posted anything on my Blog.
In June, for the school holidays, I was able to have Kaitlyn and Hannah come up and for a holiday, just the 3 of us.  Emma was still a bit young to spend so much time away from her mother.

I flew down to the Gold Coast to pick up the girls, I hadn't seen them for nearly 6 months, there were lots of happy tears, along with big hugs and kisses at the airport.  With the 3 most special girls in the whole world again.

It was great to hold my girls again.  We only had one night on the Gold Coast, as Kaitlyn, Hannah and I were flying out for Mornington Island the next morning.

Kaitlyn, Hannah and I went to get some afternoon tea, I think the excitement tired poor little Emma out.  Isn't she just beautiful.

Emma was pretty happy with the doughnuts.

Last cuddle for the evening.

Emma came to see us off early then next morning, I think she was a little jealous she wasn't coming with her big sisters.
Hannah had a few tears, she hadn't been away from her mother for more than a few nights, once in the air she was fine, and all excited about the adventure ahead.
